Value for money is a personal thing depending on so many variables that I can't answer that question for you. What I can say is that I find $69.97 quite a steep price (especially given the Australian exchange rate which knocks me about). However, if you can use the bonuses, especially bonus two of a free AdSense critique, it could represent value for money. The free critique and one-on-one support could be worth thousands ... if you make sure you use it.

Also, there are numbers of links within the text that lead to free utility programs etc that add value to your purchase.

And the Negatives?

In my opinion the only negatives are that the ebook isn't as professionally presented as it could be (given the price) and that the downloading process is convoluted. Success with AdSense

Do I DARE tell you how I make half a thousand dollars each month from only a few hours of work I did months ago?
You all know I am not one to hype and make OUTRAGEOUS CLAIMS about ANYTHING. That is why I am reluctant to even talk about this.
However, I feel I should share this success I am having. ANYONE can do this. I spent a few days (actually less than a few days) building two very simple sites back 8 months ago or so. I have spent VERY little time on these sites since then.
(I am also building quite a list of people interested in these types of businesses with these sites. I have some plans for that list up my sleeve too!)
After I built them, a month later I began seeing a few dollars in AdSense every day. That number went up a little bit each month. I then started getting more and more traffic. The AdSense numbers went up steadily with the traffic increases. Right now, from those two sites alone, AdSense pays my mortgage each month! (Yes, I am lucky to live in the "sticks" where nice houses are inexpensive!)
Ok, so there I did it. I just told you how I pay my mortgage from a few hours of work I did months ago. I expect to see steady gains in the months and years to come.
Here are the steps I used to do it:
1. Find a niche product which has good click prices in AdSense. There are TONS of them!
2. I used SEO concepts as I created the pages. This is very important. Before you start, you must learn SEO.
3. I threw together the pages in a semi-attractive way...nothing fancy needed.
4. I submitted their URL's to about 20 different directories for Google to take notice of.
5. I did not put AdSense on the pages until they were getting several hundred visits per day. I think AdSense too early might hurt Yahoo rankings.
6. The blog site not only ranks well, but many people return to read it. It is always has new content which I don't have to write and Google loves!
7. Once a month a take the Google check to the bank. Yes, I could get it direct deposit, but I like seeing checks from Google!
Google AdSense is my FAVORITE way of making money online! Why? Because it has easily made me more money per hour worked than anything else I do.
Ok, there it is...My short but sweet description of just one of the Internet marketing methods!

Interview with the AdSense million dollar man, Jason Calacanis
When Jason Calacanis wrote in his blog that he was on schedule to make a million dollars with Google AdSense over the next twelve months, he created a phenomenal buzz about the financial possibilities of running AdSense on blogs, as he does on his Weblogs Inc. network.
If back in September when we started playing with Google Adsense someone told me it would turn into a $1M a year business I would have laughed. A million bucks without a sales person? Give me a break!However, yesterday we broke our $2,100 record with a $2,335 day. That’s an impressive number I know, because if we can take that number to $2,739.72 we’re at—wait for it—$1M a year.
I asked Jason if he’d care to answer some questions on how he does it, he graciously did just that, sharing his thoughts, ideas and advice on AdSense.
Why did you decide to try out AdSense back in September?
We were launching blogs quicker then we could sell advertising, so we figured we could either give the ad space away (like magazines do) or we could try to make a little money from it with 3rd party ad networks like AdSense, Tribal Fusion, Fast Click, and Burst.
Did you initially place AdSense on all pages, or did you gradually add it over time? Do all pages on Weblogs Inc now run AdSense?
We started with a couple of blogs and then quickly put it all over the network.
What single change do you think made the biggest leap in your AdSense income?
1. Taking off the borders around the advertisement2. Making the links the same color as the links on the blogWhy did you select the ad unit location that you did? (Curious because it is not generally a high CTR position).
We were sold out of leaderboards on our big blogs, so we figured we could slip the thin horizontal banner without it feeling like too much advertising. People tend to like–or not care about–Google Adsense ads. Which is great compared to graphical banners which people sometimes hate.
How successful have you found rotating the ad unit colors to combat banner blindness?

You use channels on your sites, do you also check your channel reports on a regular basis? Have they helped you with making decisions regarding AdSense?
We do channels for each blog, and now we are doing channels for each position on each blog. This is a lot of work because we have seven positions across 80 blogs. I wish Google Adsense would automatically do reports by format (anyone listening over there?!).
How do you balance the user experience versus advertising revenue? Do you deliberately chose the less intrusive AdSense ad formats on Weblogs Inc?
We don’t like to abuse our users. We like to give a lot of content on one page (15 stories), and keep the heavy advertising up top. So, after the first page down your past most of the advertising.
You mention that your AdSense revenue would be higher if it wasn’t for advertising commitments already made on blogs such as Engadget. Is AdSense successful enough that you plan to place AdSense in those more prominent ad spaces when they become available, or is the current secondary placement on those blogs working well enough?
AdSense doesn’t reach the level of display advertising ($3-12 CPM) and it never will–unless Google started selling display advertising! Wait a second… that’s a really good idea!
Do you ever worry about someone attempting to target you for click fraud?
Not at all. Google has the issue totally under control. Besides, the advertisers correct click fraud by lowering the price of each click by what they think the cost of fraud is. So, if people were paying $1 per click, and they thought 5% were fake they would move their bid to .95. This is why the whole issue of click fraud is overblown: the advertisers look at the results and bid accordingly! People who bring up this issue–like the press–don’t understand that Google Adword buyers are very, very smart and take into account a certain level of fraud.Every system has fraud, look at credit cards! Should we stop using credit cards just because there is massive fraud? No, because on a percentage basis it is manageable. There is an acceptable fraud level in any economic system and we balance the freedom of having a credit card with the fact that someone could scam the system.
Do you plan to test Yahoo Publisher Network when it becomes available? What will be your deciding factor when choosing between the two - strictly revenue or something beyond that? What about some of the other contextual ad networks on the market?
This is all about performance. If Yahoo Publisher Network makes us more money we will give them the inventory. However, we don’t have all the time in the world to swap out these networks all day long, so we can’t try every ad network out there. In fact, I’ve been telling the smaller ad networks that come to us now that they have to give us a “floor CPM.” They would pay that floor rate in advance in order for us to even test their network. Out of the 10 ad networks I’ve told this to 8 think I’m crazy and two are considering doing it. So, I’m making some progress.
In another year large publishers with quality products are going to be able to demand a minimum “floor CPM.” Some folks might be getting this already. I would love to see Google or Yahoo say “we’re gonna pay you at least a .25 CPM for your traffic, or 65% of the value of the clicks–whichever is greater.” They could give you a report each month with both results.
If someone is going to beat Google at this game that is how they will do it, with a guaranteed minimum CPM. If I were trying to beat Google I would do three things: 1. disclose the % of the split, 2. give a floor CPM, and 3. direct sell CPM based advertising on top websites. In other words, add the direct selling that BlogAds or Tribal Fusion does to what Google already does. Then an advertisers could say “I’ll pay a $5 CPM for the top leaderboard on your site, and .50 for ever other click you can get on your site.”
That is the future: blended buys through one ad network.
I’m sure Google and Yahoo will offer this in the next year.
What is the best piece of advice you have for a publisher brand new to AdSense? What would you have done differently when you started with AdSense, knowing what you do now.
I would have run four ads per page, taken off the borders, and made the links the same color as the links on the blog. I would have also made channels for each position and blog so I could track things better.
How many times do you login to AdSense a day? Are you a stats junkie who checks every ten minutes? Or do you check only once or twice a day?
I have about 50 saved Adsense reports in a folder on my Opera browser. Every day I click on it and autoload the 50 pages. I then scan and look for trends. Sometimes I find a CTR spike or an eCPM of note. However, it’s pretty steady at this point.The best thing you can do to make more money is produce world-class content. That’s what I spend my time on: finding people who can make world-class content… and pay them!
How successful have the AdSense for Feeds ads in your RSS been? Have you had a problem with readers not wanting ads in their feeds from you?
Like three folks were upset about RSS ads. Now, we have millions of people coming to our sites every month so we’re not going to stop the revenue for three freaks who want free content without advertising (don’t we all want that?!?!).If you did a survey and asked people watching Desperate Housewives if they would consider paying to have it without commercials people would say yes. You could ask the same group if they would like to save money by watching the Sopranos for free with ads in it and they would say they would consider it!
Ads in RSS are no big deal. They are just like banners or text links on a web page. If you produce great content people will deal with the ads, and if you produce really great content a certain percentage of those folks will pay for the content (if you want to go that route). So, it’s important that when you’re running a business you ignore the freaks and listen to the real fans. Real fans of the site understand you need to make money in order to produce free content, and those real fans even visit the advertisers and buy their products knowing that it will support the product they love.

There are tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

Google Launches AdSense for Mobile

There are about 6.6 billion people in the world and about half that many mobile phone subscriptions. Better still, ad blocking on mobile handsets isn't an issue. At least not yet.

Publishers of Web sites designed for viewing on mobile phones now have the option to make some money through Google (GOOG)'s AdSense program.
Google on Tuesday announced the availability of AdSense for Mobile, its service for placing contextual ads with mobile Web content.
"We've just launched AdSense for Mobile, which can help you expand your online content to new platforms," said Alex Kenin, AdSense product marketing manager, in a blog post. "If you have a Web site optimized for mobile browsers, or are interested in creating one, you can start monetizing your mobile site by accessing a growing number of our mobile advertisers."
AdSense for Mobile complements Google's original AdSense service, which places ads on participating publishers' sites that correspond to the publishers' content. Both versions of AdSense run on Google's auction model and AdSense publishers earning money based on the number of ads clicked on by viewers.
Google is offering AdSense for Mobile in 13 countries: England, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Russia, Netherlands, Australia, India, China, and Japan (in a few weeks).
For those keeping score, that's six fewer than Yahoo (YHOO), which launched its mobile display ad system for its Mobile Web service in 19 countries back in February.
Mobile advertising is expected to generate about $3 billion by the end of the year and $19 billion by the end of 2011, according to ABI Research.
Google's ability to profit from mobile advertising will depend largely on how much it knows about those viewing its mobile ads and the extent to which it can convert that knowledge into ad targeting data.
While telecom companies typically know a great deal about their subscribers, they tend not to share that information without compensation, if at all. That leaves Google to either make deals with telecom partners or to deepen its own data about those using its services both on the Internet and mobile devices.
With almost all of Google's revenue coming from Web advertising, Google is no doubt anxious to deliver mobile ads that phone users want to see and that advertisers want to pay for. Doing so will go a long way toward diversifying Google's revenue stream, which is something that Google's investors would like to see.

4. Content is King!
Write relevant, interesting content for your website. Write some stories, articles, anything. Try for one new content page a week, more if you have time. Employ someone if you need to. Interview with Adsense Millionaire Markus Frind of PlentyOfFish.Com (in his Adsense Success Story, Adsense Tips and Secrets, Internet Marketing, etc.)

Markus Frind runs a free online dating site called PlentyOfFish.com and he rocked the Internet world this week when he posted a photo of his latest Google AdSense check for nearly $1 million CAD.

It was a check for 2 months because the first check they sent was so big it was rejected by his bank. (I hate it when that happens.)

I asked Markus to share a few thoughts with us, and he was kind enough to oblige.

You're a one-man show running a very successful dating site. Tell us how you got started.

Back in 2001 after my birthday someone in the office introduced me to online dating sites. I went back to my desk and checked out udate.com and kiss.com and lavalife/web personals. I was bored and I wanted to chat with people. I was really annoyed when I found out you had to pay for everything, I ended up telling the girl who introduced me to the sites that I could do better and make them for free, so I went and registered Plentyoffish.com. All I ever ended up doing was creating an index page and forgot about it. Fast forward to 2003... [Find the rest of Markus' answer over on his blog]

Your site, if you'll forgive me, isn't terribly attractive, it isn't "web 2.0" it isn't even a terribly original idea. Many entrepreneurs today think that without those ingredients in the recipe, they'll never make it. You've clearly proved otherwise. What's your secret and what are your thoughts about what it takes to be successful?

To many people assume an "original idea" is just something that looks visually different then others. I created the first real free dating and the first one that actually worked. Just like Google created the first real search engine that worked. There is no such thing as a secret. When I came home from work I sat down and I forced myself to code for a hour or 2. The enemy was thinking, whenever I paused or started to think I would force myself to type something, its amazing how much you can get done when you just type. There are only 1000 or so sites in the world with massive traffic, and of those mine is the only one that is run by a single person. It's not possible for thousands of people to be as successful as me. For being successful in building sites you need to give something to the surfer faster or better or both. If you want to do pay per click, you just need to be good at picking words to bid on. For that business its just a matter of repetition and fighting boredom. At the end of the day you just need to sit down and DO it. Most people don't.

You've obviously done a brilliant job marketing the site because you have some insane traffic numbers. What do you feel has been your most successful marketing move and why?

It was all viral. My best move was not going out and spending a ton of money, with online dating you need to spend $6.00 for every free member, and most of those leave on the first day and the few that do become active don't stay more than 3 months. So 30% of your membership is turned over per month. There is no way you can make your money back. The site went ballistic in Canada all on its own I really didn't have to do anything.

What has been your least successful marketing effort? Why wasn't it successful?

Radio, too expensive, too hard to buy your way into markets. Yahoo, Match.com and Eharmony and Lavalife are each spending $10 million a month on marketing. How can you even come close to competing with them?

Can you share some of your favorite sources of inspiration and ideas? (e.g. certain blogs/books/magazines)

Never bothered reading books, magazines Just started reading blogs lately outside the dating world. For the most part I treated it as a video game, and defeat isn't an option you just find some way to win.

Any parting advice for other entrepreneurs trying to gain success with AdSense or other "eyeball/traffic"-oriented ventures?

Google pays out $500 million a quarter to AdSense users. That money is going somewhere, and if you look at the top 1000 sites not a hell of a lot of them have AdSense. Statistically speaking those sites that have low numbers of users and high EPC [Earnings Per Click] will make the most money. Build sites that no one else has done before, stuff only goes viral the first 1 or 2 times after that you have to buy your way into a market.
